On Couch

This recording was made on 11/27/06. The recorder was placed on the couch where Robin had transitioned. The cat was locked up in another room so that he couldn't be heard. There is a sound that reminds me of cellaphane paper being torn. Robin loved her sweets so I always made sure she had candy, or cookies, or snack cakes (all of which come in cellaphane paper), etc. and all within reach of couch since she could not walk.

There is another sound that sounds like furniture being pulled across a wooden floor. Here again, I can relate to that sound. Robin's TV room and bedroom had all the oriental decorations. She hated the furniture I had in the living room and wanted me to switch the furniture around. I wouldn't do it because I knew she loved her oriental decorations and I didn't want to take them away from her. A few months after she transitioned, I decided to do what she wanted me to so I switched the furniture and since I am alone, I had to drag some of the heavier pieces across the hardwood floors to get them into the livingroom where she wanted them.
