Various Religious Views on Spirituality

Nepal Buddha Boy

This is an amazing story of a young boy who is believed to be an incarnate of Buddha. I have been following this story for the last couple of years. The young boy started his meditation on May 16, 2005. Human beings can go for weeks without food, but only a few days without water or fluids. Buddha Boy has been in meditation for almost two years, meditating under a tree without food or water. He has lived through snake bites and torrential rains and storms. For a nine month period he disappeared and some people believed he was abducted, but he reappeared on December 25, 2006, and disappeared again on March 8, 2007. He apparently felt a need to seek shelter and quiet for his continued meditation in the forest due to the many people who came to see him. Scientists are trying to find a way to monitor him but it is impossible to do so without touching him and breaking his intended six year meditation. To read the latest update Click Here!
