I certainly do not call myself an expert in crop circles, quite the contrary in fact, but there is one thing that has been proven to me, at least to my satisfaction, and that is that there is a difference between man made and natural crop circles as explained by Freddy Silva, as well as others. Natural crop circles have their nodes blown out by temperatures of at least 1,500 degrees and show burn marks in certain areas. Their stalks are not broken at the bottom, and there are definite chemical changes within the stalk themselves as well as the soil. As beautiful as some of the man made crops, these attributes are not found in them. Because man made ones are becoming more prevalent, it is causing more work for serious minded scientists because they have to do more work to check what is natural and what is man made. The crop that these photos and videos were taken in is too new (approximately 1 to 1 1/2 months old, so testing has not been completed to know how or by who they were made. This particular crop circle showed up near Avebury and Stonehenge in the southern portion of England and I photographed it in July, 2008.
My initial feelings when walking into this crop circle was that it was man made and at least one month old because the barley laying on the ground had already turned color due to weather. When I asked Freddy Silva, who happened to be our tour guide and world renound expert on crop circles, he estimated it to be about 1 1/2 months old.
I have to admit I was a bit thrown when not getting any spike in my EMF detector at first and then it gave a nice spike which can be seen in the video on this page. Despite the video recorder being all over the place due to walking, trying to watch where I was going, trying to keep my electronic equipment from getting destroyed by the hard rain that was falling, all while trying to hold the camera, you will be able to see and hear the spiking.
The photograph of the orb was also caught in the same area of the higher EMF spike. One thing I do know for certain is that orbs do cause an electromagnetic field spike so I'm not sure if the spike was caused by the circle (I doubt it) but rather the orb or the fact that we were on one of England's strong ley lines.
I debated on whether or not to include a page on crop circles, but after long deliberation decided that since there is as much belief that these circles may be made by collective consciousness and of a spiritual, teaching message in their geometric patterns, or by UFOs, I decided to push further.
In order not to disgruntle the UFO believers, a subject I am very familiar with but feel I do not have enough personal proof to expand on, except for a couple of incidents written about below, I do want to give a few facts that I've come to believe are true.
Although I'd like to think that I'm still open minded to UFOs, as there seems to be so many pictures, videos, and investigators working on this subject with incredible education and field work, in addition to our own experiences, there are a few noticable parallels between some UFO and orb pictures and actions which I would like to put forth.
I have seen many pictures of supposed UFOs that to me appear to be orbs.
Often an orb of light is seen above an area where a crop circle appears. Is this really a UFO or can it be an orb?
UFOs have been said to interfere with electronics and raise the electromagnetic field, but my experiments, as well as others, have found the same thing to be true of orb activity.
While some UFOs are claimed to be spherical in shape, others are described as cigar shaped. Moving orbs also look like long slender cigar shapes, and most often are captured as spheres.
Some UFOs have been said to be big and then appearing to have smaller ones project from it. Orbs have been captured in the same way.
UFO lights have been seen in various colors, but this is also true of orbs.
UFOs seem to move in/out of certain frequency ranges or move unlike and faster then known aircraft. Here again, this is true of orbs.
The above points are not made to discredit the existence of UFOs by any means, but just points to ponder on. You might want to consider these points as my way to avoid honest errors at times, much like the "Photo Mistakes" page outlines honest mistakes in photographs.
Sighting of an Unidentified Flying Object
Having said the above, we moved to North Las Vegas, Nevada mid 1989. Our home was located off Craig Road, six miles from Nellis Air Force Base, and approximately 100 miles from Area 51. The Sheep Mountain Range was directly behind our subdivision and in full view from our home. Anyone who lives in North Las Vegas knows that commercial air space is on one side of Craig Road, and only military planes fly in the air space on the other side.
One night while my daughter and I were sitting on our patio watching the stars and talking, we noticed a bright red light (the size and color of a traffic signal light) coming from the direction of the mountain range. It made no noise at all and as it came closer to where we were, the roof tops of the neighbor's houses block our view so we both took off running to the front of the house. By this time whatever we saw turned green, and again looked the size of a traffic light. It stopped moving and just sat over, what we guessed to be the North Las Vegas Airport. Several minutes later it made a 45 degree change in direction and turned white, went a little way and just hovered again. Once white, it seemed to grow in size and became so brilliant that it almost hurt our eyes just to look at it. We then saw two military planes from Nellis flying directly towards the object. As they approached it, the object took off in the opposite direction. It was watching a turtle chasing a gazelle. There was no way the military planes could even come close to it, yet go as fast. Interestingly, because we lived so close to the base we often saw military craft flying behind our house, particularly when the Iraq war started, but this particular night they were flying in commercial air space.
Still excited about it the next morning, we started to tell one of our neighbors who told us that she too was in her backyard and saw the whole thing. Her house faced a different direction (east) so she was able to see the entire incident without have to move at all.
Another incidence occurred when my granddaughter and I were coming home from a local shopping center and were driving in the direction of our home and the mountain range one afternoon. Both of us saw a silver craft of some kind flying towards the mountain range. The sun was reflecting off it so it was quite clear to see it was circular in appearance. It appeared to land on the top of one of the mountains and then looked like it slowly descented into the mountain itself. We were able to get home, run to the backyard and watch it's descent into the mountain. Having travelled that area prior to this incident, I know there is no airport in that area for any plane to have descended to make a landing.
After so much research and study of orbs, I can honestly say that these incidents were NOT orbs. One question keeps coming to my mind: If this was some type of secret aircraft our military was testing, then why did two planes from Nellis Air Force Base try to catch up to it? Since Nellis is connected to Area 51, then they should have known that any secret craft that could go that fast would be impossible to get close to.
